About

A simple level-building game engine intended for use at STEM camps to get kids interested in game development, or for level-building enthusiasts ages 7+.

Process

Collaborated with two partners, Mason Eiland and Deric Shaffer. The creation of DungeonSmith began with planning out the concept and then testing the idea with a lo-fi prototype. After the prototype, development of the game began using Godot. Emma designed the UI and created all of the graphics used in the game, and Mason and Deric implemented the functionality. Emma created over 100 graphics, including a variety of blocks, backgrounds, animated characters, and the logo.
